This reminds me of the book written by Jason Vitug called You Only Live Once The Roadmap to Financial Wellness and a Purposeful Life. In the book he writes the importance of clarity of values and align that with a budget. The goal is to find the balance and a budget is a framework to help not hinder. “set financial goals aligned with your values.” I definitely recommend because it aligns so well with this article.
