In the Philippines, where I’m from, we call these plant persons, “plantitos” and “plantitas”, a mixture of the words plant and tito/a, which means aunt or uncle in Tagalog! haha it’s because most of the plant people in the Philippines tend to be peoples’ uncles and aunts!
