I love this! I am retired now, having worked in law firms most of my life, which I found horribly soul sucking. I once wrote in my journal that peeling garlic for 4 hours would be way preferable to doing this soul-sucking work for even one hour. I take pleasure in household chores.

Hi Brittany, I totally agree with you when you said being an adult is a never-ending to-do chores. Even at the age of 40, I constantly find myself, along with my wife getting busy with house chores, taking care of the children and at the same time, managing our business and finances.
Though sometimes, all of these can be cumbersome, but one secret we have to come to discover and adhere to is by doing the chores together. There is practically nothing that I do all alone, my wife is always there to assist me and also the same from my end. We derive joy and bit of romantic revival doing this.
