I really enjoyed this article Jill. Creativity is vital to my mental health. Without it I suffer from really bad nightmares every night. So I try to do something creative every single day and I’ve found that the more imperfectly creative, the less I worry about the product and focus on the process, the better it calms me. I already have a daily writing habit for my blog but I need to add in another block of time for free creation!

Whenever I initially began this task, I felt like my time was squandered on the off chance that I made something I wasn’t glad for. Presently, I bomb more than I succeed because these morning minutes aren’t about the work. Seldom do I make something I like on the first go, yet I’ve figured out how to embrace that I’m doing it for the cycle, the delight, and the quiet it brings to my day. Whether the workmanship is fortunate or unfortunate? That is not the point. The cycle is the point and it keeps me returning many days.
