And as a cognitive behavioral therapist, I do disagree with the “trusting your gut part”. If someone is rather healthy and is not plagued by anxiety or depression, okay, use your gut. But if you do experience these things, your gut decision is based on fear, avoidance, and procrastinating. This can be severely limiting and isolating. Proceed with caution.

may I add consider doing something as service to the world you want to live in?
This is my first reAD HERE AND I’M THRILLED.I am just abandoning another style blog ( EM) I was feeling like it was more about spending money/resources than I liked. The last straw for me was when the blogger bought her 4th house to do over and described how much she would make on it. My comment that maybe it was an oppertunity to give to others got deleted.

I’ve always had an all-or-nothing attitude, especially when it comes healthy eating, and it’s failed me every time!
