But wait, what’s, “in the budget?” I shop for it all – I want to power wash my walkway and also want to have a nap dress because of point #1; I WFH and I can’t sit in real clothes between on-camera meetings; and I’m okay with that.

I can’t seem to nail down a real budget!

So practical! For #3 we always have a pause period too – if we still like it after a few days (and like it enough to actually go back and get it) then it passes. Lots of the time the novelty has worn off and we don’t end up purchasing.

Another question I ask myself is, can this purchase wait six months. If I can wait, quite often after a few months I’ve forgotten about it.
