My fiance and I are getting married next weekend, and we currently have my full-size mattress I grew up with. I’d say it’s definitely time for an upgrade!

We also choose to keep the outside world out of our bedroom (no television, no working on computers, limited phone use). That helps to make it become more of a sanctuary, which we seriously need at the end of a long day. Plus, our bedroom gets some really gorgeous natural light; it’s pretty heavenly.

We are over due for a mattress. I’ve been looking around and I was surprised to read your mattress came in that box! My room is my happy place when my girls and cat pounce my husband in our bed on Saturday mornings!

our bedroom is the escape after long days! it’s the place to relax and recharge, and where my husband and i talk about big plans for the future. it’s best on the weekends when we can snuggle in for a few extra hours. 🙂

We’ve been remodeling our house little by little for the past 2 years. The bedroom was the one room that we had “ready” before moving in so it has literally been our keep-me-sane room through the whole processes. Likewise, our mattress was a hand me down, too, and it is definitely starting to show. A new mattress would be such a wonderful way to make the room just that much more of an escape!

You know that feeling when you drink an ice-cold beverage on an insanely hot summers day? Usually it’s followed by a satisfied “ahhhhh.”…yea, that’s how I feel every single time I shut my bedroom door to the outside world. There’s this immediate sense of release. My bed has always been my happy place, but after becoming a neonatal nurse it became so much more important as a place to center myself and rest. It is at its happiest when I (finally) have the weekend off, can wake up and watch Arsenal play, spend the morning (really early afternoon) drinking coffee and reading with my boyfriend. Now if only we’d bought a less expensive and more comfortable matress that didn’t require a too small foam topper! Great post, I’ve been curious about these mattresses.

My bedroom is my happy place because i’m also constantly travelling, and there’s nothing better than getting back to your own room/bed. That said, a new mattress would do wonders for our room! when I moved to the US from Australia I intended to upgrade to a grown-up mattress, but having to purchase a whole new apartment full of furniture when I arrived meant the budget only stretched to a cheapie. Would so love to upgrade!

My husband and I dream of living in a cabin in the mountains. We have turned our master bedroom into a “cabin experience” to make it our happy place. We have decorated it with our favorite mountains pictures and decor, bedding etc. Now our three children want to remodel their rooms too.
