But two years ago I was asked to crew for a friend on his sailboat and sailing at night is absolute perfection. To be the only one awake, guiding the boat through the dark night, in the middle of the ocean is the most peaceful and yet powerful thing I’ve ever experienced. It’s like a once in a lifetime event and yet I have to pinch myself because I’ve been able to do it several times since.
