I really enjoyed reading the interview. I am buying my first Jesse Kamm sailor pants this month and I love the shirt featured in the first photo of the article to go with them. Is this from Jesse Kamm too? any hints about where could I find it?
Thanks

I have heard and read about her a lot in magazines and blogs. She has a unique sense of fashion. This blog was quite amazing to read.

I think my prayers (er, bitching and moaning, really) have been answered—JK announced on IG that size 12 is now available in black and olive Sailor Pants! Thank heavens! Dreams do come true? Now to order them ASAP and hope I can at least get them on…

Often times some runs of her Sailor Pants are advertised as running small, and it’s recommended to size up. If you’re already a size 10 or above, you’re just out of luck! I’m normally between size 8 and 12 in other brands, so I wouldn’t even consider myself plus size. I’ve tried on multiple size 10 Jesse Kamm pants with no luck—couldn’t even get them on over my thighs because I’m super pear-shaped. When I reached out to JK via email once to ask if they’d ever consider increasing their size offerings, I got no response. When a friend of mine with a similar sizing issue did the same, she got a blunt response that they will never make above a size 10. For a brand that celebrates womanhood and girl power and the like, it’s disappointing that their vision of strong females is a waify model type that’s 6′ and a size 2. Girls with big hips and booties want to buy your $400 pants too! In the mean time, I guess I will have to keep settling for poor imitations and JK knockoffs.

The active and the young in fashion for the young is never forgot.

I simply meant that living in the 3rd world without all of our modern luxuries is how I enjoy life most. Living simply, off the grid if where I feel most at home in the world. 🙂

Would love to try some of their clothes!
