I must say this is such a pandering and absurd remark. Do you feel you have to make your children apologize for how they were born? Should they be ashamed of being white? Your pandering is so “white woke” it is actually depressing. While we should celebrate all of our unique qualities your brand has zippo, nada that relates to a black community. The looks scream a lifestyle of rich Santa Barbara, your mission statement reads of privilege. No matter how many black models you insert or token hire you cannot be what you are not. Most of all, you should not apologize for being born white.. You are who you are. We are gifts of live and God.. Your life was never in Compton so don’t try to play the good white person helping the poor black folk. It is insulting to their intelligence and culture.
I know the death of your partner is tragic and sincerely offer condolences. Your focus should be on the consequences of depression. These are depressing times. The glorious photos you post show a life of luxury but I now see pain and sadness instead. Selling used dresses for $200.00 to a community that you are trying to reach out to is unrealistic. Donate your used goods to a charity in a black, Hispanic or poor white neighbood in honor of Hilary. Otherwise, your wokeness is falling on deaf ears.
